“For your unfailing support to establish and strengthen the regulatory system for biotech crops in the Philippines under D.A. AO no. 8; for your unselfish efforts to train and update our biosafety regulators in government, academe and science community; for your unparalleled commitment for the safe and responsible use of modern biotechnology in the country – the success we are joyfully celebrating today will not be possible without our dear Dr. Nina Halos.”
