Orig Varronette Visits with Varrons

Annabelle (Annie) Misa-Hefti, one of the Original Varronettes (1963) and husband Walter Hefti (both standing to the right in the photo below), got together with Varrons Romy Huelgas (Orig ’62), Cion Karganilla-Raymundo and Elvie Talatayod (both Original Varronettes ’63), Frank Cortez (Batch ’64) at the Viking Resto, Mall of Asia, Metro Manila last January 17, 2018. Annie studied at UPCA in 1962-63, joined the Varronettes but later transferred to UP Diliman where she finished a BS Psychology degree. She later went to the U.S. to pursue her MA where she met Walter. They are currently residing in Switzerland. Despite the distance, Annie has maintained contact with her BFFs, Cion and Nylda Villena-Caramancion, the latter another Original Varronette who currently resides in Canada with husband Manny Caramancion, also a Varron.
