Gone are the days . . .

When

. . . thoughts were said through stanzas of poems

. . . feelings were expressed through lines of songs

. . . messages were relayed between the lines

For now

. . . I could no longer find the rhyme

thoughts blurred . . .

ideas cluttered . . .

messages unheard . . .

. . . unread

. . . never relayed

feelings undefined

no more time

Gone is the muse . . .

Feelings neglected to the core

Words and pen no longer fuse

For I write no more . . .
