Doracie Zoleta-Nantes (Crystal ’77) has been elected as president of Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT). She took her oath-of-office on May 15, 2015 before the chairperson of the Commission of Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines. Her appointment is until 2019.

Prior to this appointment, Doracie was a co-convener of the Masters of Natural Hazards and Disasters program at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Geography at University of the Philippines Diliman.

She obtained her doctoral degree in environmental hazards and disaster management at Rutgers University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in human ecology at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
