we pause
to share
the feeling of grief and loss
by the families and friends
of those whose lives tragically perished
in an instantwe pause
to reflect and
to look back
in order to move forward
as human beings
as people of a larger community
that live in harmonywe pause
to re-examine what we learned
to re-learn the lessons
as individuals
as members of the human race
to know and to acknowledge
other people’s existence
to better understand
their meanings
so we can tolerate and
appreciate our differenceswe pause
to ask ourselves
what we have done
what we are doing
in our own little ways
to discover and live by the truth
to uphold and advocate for justice
to promote and foster love
to campaign and crusade for freedom
to make this planet
a better and more livable placewe pause . . .
to remember who we are and
to remind ourselves what we are striving for— written by The Sentimental Varron

to all vrods and sisses –
. . . very touching indeed!
Nice! and who is the varron-author?
a great way to remember!
Great poem. It unwinds my consciousness about the resiliency of Varrons to make the uplook good, the outlook bright and the inlook magnificent.
Thank you my dear Sentimental Varron
A very nice poem . . . very touching . . . every word of it. I am proud that it was composed by a Varron. More power to you Sentimental Varron
Thanks for the poem. We have to remember indeed so we can move forward and avoid the mistakes of the past (I hope).
we never have forgotten . . . everyday since then . . .
This is great work, very touching poem. I applaud the author and I’m proud he or she is a Varron.
thanks
