Photography for autumn by Loida Mance (Jeffrox ’77).

Loida Mance

Loids

Loids obtained her BS Forestry degree from UP Los Baños.  She holds an advanced degree from North Dakota State University. She currently works as a professional pest control technician for a local company in the midwest while doing what she truly enjoy — being in the outdoor most of the time and being able to apply her field of expertise in Entomology. Photography is a passion she did not realize she had, which she discovered by accident when her graduate study professor asked her to photograph some butterflies. The rest is history. She is also passionate about writing poems, gardening, nature, and entertaining family and friends with her awesome cooking. And as a brand new grandmother, she is passionate about her granddaughter Shaelyn NeliaBelle (daughter of her first born Karl).

Her advice to her fellow Varrons: “If you are passionate about something, go for it. You can learn the techniques and all but your passion gives breath to what you do, like shooting photos, or just spending time with your loved ones . . .”

You can see more of her photo collections in her Life Images page at Facebook . . . “Like” them!
