Our congratulations to Larissa “Dap” Pesimo-Gata (BWNN II ’90) for being one of the 20 fellowship awardees by the Universities and Councils Network on Innovation for Inclusive Development in Southeast Asia (UNIID-SEA). Dap is being recognized in her area of expertise related to community-based adaptive strategies to climate change.
The UNIID fellowship “aims to champion IID advocates in the the Southeast Asian region, by incentivizing fellows to share their existing courses and modules that demonstrate inclusive innovation.” Fellows are selected from the ten ASEAN Member States that include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Dap is an assistant professor at the Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance, College of Forestry, University of the Philippines Los Baños.
