As part of its continuing commitment to promoting awareness and encouraging concerned action towards a cleaner environment and preserving biodiversity, Tudla is honored and proud to present the slideshow below highlighting some of the natural beauties that can be found and enjoyed in the Mt. Makiling area where the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) is located. We are thankful to Dr. Segfredo “Fred” Serrano, a member of the UPLB Class 78, for allowing Tudla to use his photographs. An avid lover of nature and a talented amateur photographer, Fred is the Undersecretary of Agriculture for Policy, Planning, Research and Development in the Philippines.

Fred, the photographer, is one of the leaders of UPLB Class 78. As part of its projects to give back to the university, the Class 78 is actively raising funds towards the construction of an Open Theater venue within the UPLB Campus. Teresita “Tess” Harina-Borromeo (Rodeo ’74) and Flora “Pola” Credo-de Guzman (Interaksyon ’75), both Varrons, are also on the Board of Directors of Class 78.
